1. Physical Products

1.1 Return Terms and Conditions

30-Day No-Reason Return
Within 30 days from the date of receipt, you may request to return your XNote product package, including the smart pen, notebook, charging cable, and any included materials, and receive a full refund.

Return Condition Requirements
Returned items must be in their original condition and fully functional.
All original packaging, included materials, manuals, and components must be returned together with the product.

Package Integrity
The XNote Smart Writing Set, including the smart pen, notebook, charging cable, and any included materials, is considered a single integrated product package and cannot be returned or refunded partially.

Individual components of the set, such as the smart pen, notebook, charging cable, or included materials, cannot be returned separately.

Notebook Return Conditions for Product Packages
Notebooks included as part of the XNote Smart Writing Set can only be returned if they are unused and unmarked.

Returned notebooks must be blank, clean, and free of writing, stains, tears, folded pages, water damage, or any other physical damage.

Used, written-on, marked, damaged, or partially used notebooks included in a product package may affect refund eligibility or result in a partial refund deduction.

Damage or Missing Components
If a returned item is found to be damaged, missing components, not fully functional, or returned with severely damaged packaging, XNote reserves the right to deduct a portion of the refund based on the condition of the returned product.

Data Processing
If your XNote device stores user data, including but not limited to handwriting data, Bluetooth connection records, or account-related device information, please erase all personal data before returning the product.

After receiving the returned device, XNote may perform a factory reset to clear user data and restore the device to its original state.


1.2 Refund Process

Please include the following information:

  • Your order number
  • The product serial number, if available
  • The email address used for the purchase

After your request is reviewed, our customer service team will provide the return address and shipping instructions.

After we receive and inspect the returned product, XNote will process your refund within 5–10 business days.

The actual time for the funds to appear in your account may vary depending on your bank or payment processor.


1.3 Returnless Solution

If it is inconvenient for you to return the product, or if returning the product is not possible for reasons approved by XNote customer service, you may choose to keep the product.

In such cases, XNote reserves the right to take necessary administrative or technical steps to complete the after-sales process, including but not limited to disabling device activation, unlinking the device from your account, or restoring the device to an unactivated state.

After these steps are completed, a partial refund, alternative compensation, store credit, or another appropriate solution may be arranged based on the specific circumstances.


2. Separately Purchased Notebooks

Please note: This section applies only to XNote notebooks purchased separately.

Notebooks included as part of the XNote Smart Writing Set are part of the integrated product package and cannot be returned or refunded separately.

2.1 Returnable Notebooks

Separately purchased XNote notebooks may be eligible for return if they meet the return conditions below.

2.2 Notebook Return Conditions

Notebooks can only be returned if they are unused and unmarked.

Returned notebooks must be:

  • Blank, clean, and free of writing or markings
  • Free of stains, tears, folded pages, water damage, or other physical damage
  • Returned in their original packaging, where applicable

Used, written-on, marked, damaged, or partially used notebooks are not eligible for return or refund.

2.3 Notebook Refund Process

To request a return for separately purchased notebooks, please contact:

Please include:

  • Your order number
  • The name and quantity of the notebooks you wish to return
  • The email address used for the purchase

After customer service approval, return instructions will be provided.

After receiving and verifying the returned notebooks, XNote will process the refund within 5–10 business days.

The actual time for the funds to appear in your account may vary depending on your bank or payment processor.

2.4 Notebook Returnless Solution

In specific circumstances approved by XNote customer service, such as when returning the notebook is inconvenient or impractical, you may choose to keep the notebook.

A refund, partial refund, store credit, or alternative compensation may be arranged based on the specific situation.


3. XNote Software, Memberships, and Digital Services

This section applies to XNote digital services purchased through XNote’s official website, Apple App Store, Google Play, or other authorized payment channels.

These services may include, but are not limited to:

  • XNote memberships or subscription plans
  • Audio transcription minutes
  • AI usage quotas
  • Automation limits or add-ons
  • Digital service upgrades
  • Other software-based or account-based services

3.1 General Refund Policy for Digital Services

Within 30 days after purchasing an XNote digital service, you may be eligible for a full refund if the service has not been used, activated, consumed, or redeemed.

XNote and the relevant payment platforms, including Apple, Google Play, Stripe, or other payment providers, reserve the right to determine refund eligibility based on the specific purchase channel and usage status.

3.2 Refund Application Process

The refund process may vary depending on where the digital service was purchased.

Purchases Made Through XNote Website or Authorized Payment Channels
For digital services purchased through XNote’s official website or authorized third-party payment providers such as Stripe, please contact:

Please include:

  • Your order number
  • The registered email address associated with your XNote account
  • The name of the digital service, membership, subscription, or quota purchased

XNote’s support team will review your request and determine refund eligibility.

Purchases Made Through Apple App Store
If your subscription or digital service was purchased through Apple’s in-app purchase system, all billing, cancellation, and refund requests are managed directly by Apple.

XNote cannot directly process or approve refunds for Apple in-app purchases.

To request a refund, please submit your request through Apple’s official refund portal:

Please log in with your Apple ID, locate the relevant order, and follow Apple’s instructions to submit a refund request.

Purchases Made Through Google Play
If your subscription or digital service was purchased through Google Play, refund handling may be subject to Google Play’s policies and review process.

Please submit your refund request through Google Play or contact XNote support if the payment channel allows XNote to assist with your request.


3.3 Refund Eligibility and Exceptions

You may be eligible for a refund if one of the following conditions applies:

  • The refund request is submitted within 30 days of purchase, and the digital service has not been used, activated, consumed, or redeemed.
  • A technical issue caused by XNote prevents you from properly using the purchased digital service, and the issue is verified by XNote’s technical team.
  • Your refund request for an Apple App Store or Google Play purchase is approved by the relevant platform.

Refunds may not be available in the following situations:

  • The subscription, membership, audio minutes, AI quota, automation allowance, or other digital service has already been activated, used, consumed, or redeemed.
  • The refund request is submitted more than 30 days after the purchase date.
  • The service was not purchased through XNote’s official website or an authorized payment channel.
  • The issue is caused by the user’s device, operating system, internet connection, third-party software, improper operation, or unsupported usage environment.
  • The user cancels a subscription after the billing period has already started and the service has been made available.

3.4 Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your XNote subscription at any time.

Cancellation prevents future renewals but does not automatically refund the current billing period.

If you purchased your subscription through XNote’s official website, you may manage or cancel your subscription through your XNote account or by contacting:

If you purchased your subscription through Apple App Store or Google Play, you must manage or cancel the subscription directly through the respective platform.

3.5 Refund Processing Time for Digital Services

For refunds processed by XNote, approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

The actual receipt time may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

For refunds processed by Apple App Store or Google Play, the refund timing and approval process are determined entirely by the relevant platform.


4. General Notes

Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase unless otherwise agreed by XNote customer service.

Shipping fees, duties, taxes, customs charges, or other third-party costs may not be refundable unless required by applicable law or specifically approved by XNote.

XNote reserves the right to reject return or refund requests that do not comply with this policy, involve misuse, abuse, fraud, or are submitted outside the applicable return or refund period.
